How To Help

How To Help

SAS counts on the generosity of people like you to help us help those in need. Your support ensures that our vital programs for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities will continue without interruption. There are several ways you can help us continue our mission!

Volunteer

Throughout the year, SAS hosts a number of fund raising and family activities, such as concerts and rummage sales. Volunteers are needed to collect tickets, paint faces, send mailers, etc… On a day-to-day basis, administrative assistance gives us an opportunity to spend more time with the children we serve. Even stuffing envelopes can be a help to us! Big or small, a donation of your time is appreciated.

Give a Financial Donation

Tax-deductible donations of all sizes are appreciated—from $5 to $5,000 or more; financial donations help to keep our programs alive. You can make a donation using this PayPal link, anonymously or with your name, so we can thank you personally. We can even make it easy for you to support us in an on-going way with monthly automatic deduction from your bank account. Call Ana Parra today at 619-670-9500.

Give a Materials Donation

We use a number of household, medical, and educational supplies each year, such as adhesive bandages, towels, pens and pencils; art supplies, and notebooks, to name a few. We maintain a wish list of needed items for our residential homes and offices. For more information, see our residential page or contact Ana Parra, Executive Director, at ana@sassandiego.org.

Sponsorships

Is your business looking for a way to give back to the community? Sponsorship of one of our community homes may be the perfect solution! Sponsorship gives you the opportunity to become part of our “extended family,” and your contribution put smiles on the faces of those living in your sponsored house. Contact Ana Parra at 619-670-9500 for details on our sponsorship package.

We also offer event sponsorships with a variety of ways to recognize your gift. For more information about sponsorships, please contact ana@sassandiego.org.
